Here’s what we know so far: Senior Esports USA, fielded by the nonprofit Health-e-Gamer Foundation, was announced on a draft day in Columbus, Ohio on August 18. The team will compete in Rocket League against a senior team from Belgium. No broadcast or streaming details have been announced yet — we’ll post them here the moment they’re confirmed.
The Team
Senior Esports USA is an initiative of the Health-e-Gamer Foundation, a nonprofit focused on healthy gaming habits. Their eleven-member Rocket League roster — all Ohio seniors between 64 and 76 years old — was drafted on August 18, 2026, in Columbus. This is the first time a U.S. senior team has competed at this level internationally.
The Game

The Matchup
Senior Esports USA will face a senior team from Belgium in Rocket League at the 2026 Global Esports Games, hosted at Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, December 1–7 — an event drawing competitors from more than 115 nations.
